This is going to be the first entry into my blog – if you have followed my Facebook for a while you will know this is a lie – deleted my first blog post and it seems now that Facebook deleted the rest of the drafts).
I hope to provide you with my experiences from coaching, with fat loss, gaining muscle and everything in between.
If you want to know more about me, I will link a video here giving you the full story of me – -.
Everything health and fitness is my life. I love sports, I love walking, I love coaching and being taught about pretty much everything related to the human body and mind.
I once read about a term ‘physcial culturist’ – I think this sum me up well. I love sports, exercise, fitness, weightlifting, strong man, martial arts, competing, ‘extreme sports’, anything people have to practice and as you will soon see I love pushing my body to the limits and all in all just being active.
Exercise changed and maybe even saved my life, it definitely made it better. I want to share this amazing tool with more people and that is why we are where we are now… me typing and you reading.
I don’t want to be the coach that had depression or mental health issues – I was in a deep slump at the time and I was able to get out of it. I was not suicidal; I was just not happy for a prolonged time. As I said I don’t want to be remembered as the coach that was brave or fought through depression – I have had clients that have gone through a lot more than I have! They are brave and they are the amazing people.
But, this chapter in my life was what led me to pursue a career in the fitness industry, get my level3 PT qualification, go to college, and obtain a degree in Sport and Exercise Science.
Mental health is no joke – I have seen it. But I have also seen exercise really help people remind themselves of who they are, how hard they can work and how good feeling well can feel.
Fat loss journeys, getting lean, building muscle, and feeling better is mainly what we will read about in here. I will try and give as much advice as I can, and I will try and limit every post here to 500 words to make sure I do not ramble on.
Thanks very much for you time and I look forward to seeing where we get your body and mind.
Thanks for reading
Thom
